These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out the basis on which DSSE UK Ltd sells goods and services to business customers and provides access to its website. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

Company details:

DSSE UK Ltd, Registered Office: 71–75 Shelton Street,

Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.

Company number: 16072679

Last updated: 12 September 2025

Important – Trade Only (B2B)

All products and product information available on this website are intended for qualified or training professionals such as hairdressers, beauty therapists, barbers and nail technicians only and are offered on a strictly business-to-business (B2B) basis. By placing an order, you confirm that you are acting wholly in the course of your trade, business, craft or profession and not as a consumer.

We reserve the right to ask for proof of professional status and/or business details, and to refuse or cancel any order if we reasonably believe you are not a trade customer. As a business user, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are appropriately insured for the products you are purchasing and using.

Consumer purchases are not permitted. If you are a consumer (an individual acting for purposes wholly or mainly outside your business), you must not purchase from this website. Nothing in these Terms is intended to unlawfully exclude or restrict any rights that cannot be excluded or restricted under UK law.

1. Definitions and Interpretation
In these Terms: “DSSE”, “we”, “us”, “our” means DSSE UK Ltd; “you”, “your” means the business customer

placing an order or accessing the website; “Goods” means the products we supply; “Order” means your order for Goods; “Contract” means the contract between you and DSSE for the sale and purchase of Goods; “Working Day” means Monday to Friday (excluding UK public holidays). Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

2. Website Use and Access

By accepting these Terms you are permitted the use of search facilities within the DSSE website and to access product listings. We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to review the then-current Terms. Certain provisions may be supplemented by specific notices or terms located on particular pages of the website; in case of conflict, those page-specific terms will apply to the extent necessary.

While we endeavour to ensure that the website is available 24 hours a day, we will not be liable if for any reason the website is unavailable at any time or for any period. Access may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control.

3. Ordering and Contract Formation

When ordering online you place the Order through our checkout process. As part of the checkout process you are given the opportunity to check your Order and correct any errors. Order details may also be available by logging into your account (where applicable).

Once an Order is placed and payment or deposit is received, the Order constitutes a binding agreement subject to these Terms, including cancellation provisions.

Unless we expressly state otherwise, acceptance takes place when we dispatch the Goods (or, for collection orders, when we confirm the Goods are ready for collection). If we issue an order confirmation email, it is an acknowledgement of receipt and does not, by itself, constitute acceptance.

We may refuse to accept an Order (and/or cancel an Order prior to dispatch) including where:

(a) Goods are out of stock or no longer available;

(b) we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;

(c) there has been a pricing or product description error;

(d) you do not meet eligibility criteria (including trade-only status); or

(e) we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.

4. Prices, VAT, and Charges

All prices are quoted in GBP (£). Prices are shown excluding VAT where VAT is applicable, unless expressly stated otherwise. VAT will be charged at the applicable UK rate in force at the time of supply.

We endeavour to keep prices and information accurate and up to date. However, on occasion manufacturers and suppliers may change specifications or pricing without prior warning. We reserve the right to correct errors and to revise prices and information displayed at short notice. If a pricing error occurs, we will contact you and you may choose to proceed at the corrected price or cancel the Order for a refund of any sums paid for the affected item(s).

Where we charge separately for delivery, packaging, or other relevant charges, the applicable rates will be shown at checkout and/or provided in writing by quotation.

Sign-up discount: a 10% discount may be applied to regular (full) priced items upon sign up. This discount does not apply to items already on sale (unless stated otherwise).

5. Payment, Deposits, and Order Holds

Payment in full is required prior to dispatch of Goods unless we agree otherwise in writing. We accept payment methods as shown at checkout (which may include major credit/debit cards and PayPal). We do not accept cheques.

We may accept deposit payments for in-stock items.

Unless stated otherwise in writing:

(a) deposits must be a minimum of 30% of the total Order value;

(b) deposits are non-refundable and may be retained in full or applied toward cancellation fees, restocking fees, administrative costs, or other losses incurred as a result of cancellation: and

(c) stock is not secured until we receive cleared funds.

For deposit-held Orders, the maximum time we will hold Goods is 60 days from the date we receive the deposit (unless we agree a different period in writing). Failure to pay any monies owed by the end of the hold period may mean your Order is forfeited and a 30% cancellation fee will be charged (subject to clause 15 (Liability) and any non-excludable rights). Sale items will only be held for a maximum of 7 days (unless agreed in writing).

6. Pre-Orders, Back-Orders and Custom/Special Orders

Pre-ordering items requires either a 30% deposit or full payment (as stated at checkout). Once payment is received and cleared, DSSE will allocate and reserve your items from relevant incoming shipments.

All pre-orders are allocated strictly on a first-in, first-served basis based on the date of cleared payment or deposit. Orders that include pre-order items will be dispatched only once all items in the Order have arrived into stock, unless we agree to split the Order (see clause 7B).

All dates indicated for pre-orders are estimates only (ETA) and cannot be guaranteed. DSSE is not responsible for any direct, indirect, or consequential costs, losses, or delays arising from the arrival time of pre-order shipments.

Custom or special orders: Any items outside our regular stocked range, including custom-made items or custom colours, require a 50% non-refundable deposit before production begins. Custom or special-order items cannot be cancelled, refunded, or amended once production has commenced. Minimum order quantities may apply.

7. Delivery Times, Delivery Charges, and Access Requirements

Shipping rates displayed at checkout are calculated based on size/weight and delivery location and include VAT where applicable. We aim to dispatch in-stock items as quickly as possible. Dispatch and delivery timeframes shown on the website are estimates only.

Once dispatched, deliveries are undertaken by third-party carriers. Tracking information will be provided where available. All delivery dates and times are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed. Any special delivery instructions requested by you will be passed to the carrier where possible but remain subject to the carrier’s discretion.

Customer responsibilities: You must ensure the delivery address and contact details are correct before confirming your Order. You are responsible for ensuring suitable access for delivery, including adequate space and safe access for pallet trucks where applicable. You must ensure someone is available to receive Goods where a signature is required.

7A. Authority to Leave / Safe Place Delivery

Where an “authority to leave” or “safe place” delivery is used (including where selected by you or applied by the carrier), delivery will be deemed completed when the carrier records the Goods as delivered. Risk passes in accordance with clause 8 (Risk and Title).

7B. Redelivery, Redirection, and Added Charges

Quoted shipping fees relate to the initial delivery attempt only. If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful because you are unavailable, access is restricted, or delivery details are incorrect or incomplete, the carrier may return the Goods to a depot and additional charges may apply.

Redelivery fees, depot collection fees, and redirection fees (where applicable) will be charged at the rates notified to you at the time. An administration fee may apply for changes to delivery details or Orders prior to dispatch.

Splitting an Order for delivery: if you request split shipments, freight will be charged per shipment and an administration fee may apply for each split (as advised at the time of request).

7C. Large Furniture Deliveries, Kerbside Delivery, and Premium / White Glove

Large furniture items may be delivered using a nominated carrier service. DSSE may contact you after ordering to confirm access requirements, delivery restrictions, or preferred timeframes. Specific delivery dates and times cannot be guaranteed.

Standard kerbside delivery (unless otherwise agreed in writing):

  • Items are delivered on a pallet to the nearest kerbside location accessible by the delivery vehicle.
  • The driver will unload the pallet using a tail-lift truck or equivalent to a safe, secure kerbside location.
  • Drivers cannot move items inside your premises or beyond areas accessible by pallet jack.

  • Pallet deliveries are typically Monday to Friday during business hours, excluding public holidays.

Heavy or oversized items (e.g., treatment beds, desks, or bulky furniture) are typically delivered on pallets and this may be indicated on product pages.

Premium / White Glove delivery (where offered): This may include delivery into a room, assembly/setup, removal of packaging, and (where accessible and safe) upstairs delivery. Availability and pricing vary by area.

All charges for premium delivery/installation assume the site is ready (clear access, no ongoing works in the installation zone, and removal of any existing furniture that would prevent safe installation).

8. Delivery & Risk

  1. All deliveries are made on a kerbside / tail-lift only basis unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.

  2. Risk in the Goods shall pass to the Buyer at the moment the Goods are unloaded from the delivery vehicle at the delivery address.

  3. From that moment, the Buyer shall bear all risk of loss, damage or deterioration to the Goods, whether caused by the carrier, third parties, weather, or any other circumstance.

  4. The Buyer is solely responsible for ensuring that the Goods are inspected immediately upon delivery before signing the carrier’s Proof of Delivery (POD). Any visible damage, packaging damage, missing items or pallet damage must be recorded in writing on the POD at the time of delivery.

  5. Any claim for damage, loss or mishandling occurring after unloading, or not noted on the POD, shall be the sole responsibility of the Buyer.

  6. The Seller shall not be liable for any loss, damage, delay or mishandling caused by third-party carriers, freight companies, couriers or logistics providers.

  7. The Seller shall not be liable for any damage to property, flooring, walls, doorways, lifts, or premises caused by the carrier during delivery.

  8. Where the Seller arranges transport on behalf of the Buyer, such transport is provided as agent only, and the Buyer enters into a direct contract of carriage with the carrier.

9. Risk and Title

Risk of loss or damage to the Goods passes to you on completion of delivery (or on collection, if you or your courier collect from our premises). Title (ownership) in the Goods remains with DSSE until we receive payment in full (cleared funds) for the Goods and any other sums due.

10. Holding Orders, Storage Fees, and Uncollected Goods

In-stock items can be held for a maximum of 60 days once a minimum 30% deposit has been paid (unless agreed otherwise). If the Order is not finalised and paid in full by the end of this period, we may charge storage fees (rate advised at the time, up to £100 per week where reasonable).

If we cannot reach you after three attempts (via email or phone), your Order may be cancelled in accordance with our cancellation policy and may attract a holding/cancellation fee (as set out in clause 10), with any refund processed to the original payment method net of applicable fees (subject to law).

Sale items will not be held unless expressly agreed in writing.

11. Refunds, Cancellations and Change-of-Mind Returns

No change-of-mind returns: DSSE does not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for change of mind, preference, suitability, or incorrect selection once Goods have been delivered.

In rare and exceptional circumstances, a return may be approved at DSSE management’s discretion. Any such approval will be subject to additional fees and conditions notified to you in writing.

Cancelling an Order: when an Order is placed and a deposit is paid, inventory is allocated to you and removed from sale. Cancelling after allocation impacts our ability to sell these products to other customers.

Cancellation within 24 hours: if you notify us in writing within 24 hours of placing your Order (including weekends), we may issue a refund minus an administration fee (typically £30, or as advised at the time), provided the Order has not been processed for dispatch or production.

Cancellation after 24 hours: cancellations requested after 24 hours may incur a 30% cancellation fee plus an administration fee (typically £30), except where we are at fault or where law requires otherwise.

Cancellation after dispatch: if Goods have been dispatched but not yet delivered, the Order may be cancelled subject to:

(i) you returning the Goods at your own cost; and

(ii) once returned and assessed, a restocking fee of not less than 30% and up to 100% of the Order value depending on product type, customisation, condition, and costs incurred, and administration fee may be deducted from the refund, unless the Goods are faulty or damaged in transit (see clause 11).

Custom orders: all custom orders, special-order colours and made-to-order items require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Any cancellation of a custom order will result in forfeiture of the 50% deposit once production has commenced.

Pre-orders/back-orders: pre-order items are allocated immediately once payment/deposit is received and removed from general sale. Therefore, pre-order cancellations are treated the same as standard orders and a 30% cancellation fee may apply (subject to law).

Delays in ETA: all pre-order dates are estimates. If your pre-order ETA is delayed by 3 weeks or more beyond the original ETA, you may request a refund of amounts paid for the delayed pre-order item(s).

12. Returns for Faults, Delivery Damage, Shortages, and Incorrect Items

Returned Goods will only be accepted where you have obtained written return authorisation from DSSE. You must not return any Goods without prior written approval. Unauthorised returns may be refused and may incur administration and handling fees.

You must inspect Goods immediately upon receipt and notify DSSE in writing within 7 days of delivery for any: (a) delivery damage; (b) missing items/shortages; or (c) delivery discrepancies. Claims made after 7 days may be rejected, and damage/shortage may be deemed to have occurred after delivery.

This 7-day notification requirement relates strictly to delivery damage or missing items and is without prejudice to any non-excludable rights you may have in relation to faulty Goods under applicable UK law.

If an incorrect item has been supplied, do not open or unseal the packaging. Items must remain in original, unopened condition for us to process correction. Use of the incorrect Goods may be deemed acceptance as a substitute.

Where a return is due to a verified fault with the Goods or where Goods were damaged in transit, DSSE will either arrange collection at its own cost or instruct you on the appropriate return/disposal method.

For non-fault returns approved by us (rare), you are responsible for all freight costs associated with returning the Goods, including the original delivery fee and any applicable return shipping costs.

All approved returns must be made in their original, unopened, unused condition and must include all original packaging, accessories, and documentation. Any signs of use, damage, missing parts or compromised packaging may result in the return being refused or being subject to a charge reflecting any repair/repackaging required (up to the original cost).

For protection, you should obtain proof-of-postage/proof-of-lodgement and appropriate insurance for return transit. Unless the return is due to our fault or carrier damage, DSSE accepts no responsibility for parcels lost or damaged in transit on return.

Promotional / Free items: Goods provided free as part of a promotion cannot be exchanged or refunded unless the entire promotional set is returned in full and subject to all standard conditions.

13. Refund Processing Fees (Payment Platform Fees)

Where refunds are processed through payment platforms, provider fees may be deducted from the refund amount where permitted and where those fees were incurred by DSSE in processing your payment. Indicative fees (subject to provider rules) may include: cards/PayPal up to 2%; third-party finance providers up to 5%. Any applicable fees will be confirmed to you at the time of refund.

14. Product Images, Descriptions and Technical Information

DSSE warranty applies when products are installed and used in professional commercial environments only.

Despite every effort to provide accurate images and descriptions of each product’s colour and finish, actual colours may vary due to screen settings, lighting conditions, and normal manufacturing/material batch variation. Slight differences between the product received and online representation do not constitute defects or grounds for return.

DSSE may provide guidance, recommendations, technical details, specifications, drawings, descriptions, illustrations, dimensions, support or other services concerning products. Such information is provided for guidance only, is approximate, and DSSE makes no warranty as to accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any particular purpose.

15. Warranty (Back-to-Base)
DSSE provides a back-to-base warranty to the original purchaser from the date of delivery. Unless otherwise stated on the product page or warranty badge, the standard warranty is 12 months covering manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.

Extended warranties apply only to items displaying the relevant warranty badge and are subject to the terms below.

Warranty exclusions include (without limitation): improper assembly/installation; unauthorised modification; misuse; negligence; incorrect maintenance; wear and tear; third-party handling/transport; and external events (fire, flooding, storms, freezing, etc.).

5-Year Structural Warranty (where applicable): covers internal frame, welded joints and main load-bearing structure only; excludes upholstery, padding, motors/electronics, accessories and cosmetic components.

2-Year Warranty – Electric Motors (where applicable): covers the motor mechanism responsible for movement and lifting. Excludes hand remotes, control buttons, wiring, power supplies and foot controls (standard 12-month warranty).

2-Year Warranty – Vinyl Upholstery (where applicable): covers defects in vinyl material (peeling, cracking, splitting) under normal salon use. Excludes wear and tear, stitching, chemical staining/dye transfer, improper cleaning, cuts/abrasion/puncture, misuse and fading/discolouration from sunlight exposure.

2-Year Warranty – Hydraulic Pumps (where applicable): covers mechanical lifting mechanism of the hydraulic pump. Excludes pump handles, bases, pump covers, cosmetic parts, misuse/overloading and rust/corrosion from incorrect cleaning products.

3-Year Guarantee – Italian Tapware (where applicable): covers manufacturing defects in tap body and internal components, leakage caused by defective parts, and mechanical failure of handles/cartridges/mixers due to workmanship defects. Excludes high water pressure issues, contaminated water, wear and tear/surface marks, debris/limescale blockages, aggressive cleaners/chemicals, corrosion from improper cleaning, misuse/neglect/modification/tampering, accidental impact, and flexible hose (standard 12-month warranty).

Plumbing installation: plumbing equipment must be installed by a licensed plumber. Installation documentation may be required for warranty claims. Failure to comply may void the warranty.

Repairs: DSSE may request photos/videos to assess. Where a repair is required, DSSE may provide guidance for self-repair and supply replacement parts where appropriate. DSSE does not reimburse costs for technicians hired by you unless agreed in writing.

Duty to mitigate: you must discontinue using a faulty item to prevent further damage.

Time to notify: failure to notify DSSE within a reasonable period (typically within 14 days of discovering a defect) may affect warranty coverage where delay causes additional loss.

Spare parts: parts beyond the warranty period may be purchased; such parts are supplied without warranty unless stated otherwise.

Electrical ratings: ensure the product is used with the correct voltage and suitable surge protection as specified. Using incorrect voltage may void warranty.

Customers outside the UK: where DSSE agrees to supply outside the UK, customers may be responsible for shipping fees for warranty claims unless agreed otherwise in writing.

15A. Required Maintenance (Warranty Condition)

• Inspect and tighten bolts, screws and knobs every 4 months.

• Dust regularly using appropriate cleaning products.

• Clean upholstery with suitable cleaners (no solvents, kerosene, alcohol, silicone sprays, etc.). For vinyl upholstery, use a mild detergent diluted in water and wipe dry thoroughly after cleaning.

15B. Making a Warranty Claim

Warranty claims require: dated proof of purchase, order/tracking details, evidence of the fault (clear photos/videos) and any registered warranty details where applicable.

If your claim is approved, DSSE will supply replacement parts at no cost. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, transport to/from DSSE (or to a nominated inspection point) may be your responsibility for back-to-base claims.

16. Limitation of Liability (Including Property Damage)

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: (i) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) any matter for which liability cannot be excluded or limited under applicable UK law (including the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977).

Subject to the above, and to the extent permitted by law, DSSE will not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, or business interruption arising out of or in connection with the Contract or website use.

Subject to the above, DSSE’s total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with any Contract (whether in contract, tort (including negligence), misrepresentation or otherwise) shall be limited to the sums paid by you for the relevant Goods giving rise to the claim.

Third-party couriers and property damage: Where delivery, unloading, handling, positioning, assembly or installation is carried out by third-party couriers or contractors (including any premium/white glove service providers), those parties operate independently. To the extent permitted by law, DSSE will not be liable for any damage to buildings, floors, walls, door frames, lifts, staircases, fixtures, fittings or other property caused by such third parties during delivery or installation. You should inspect access routes in advance and take appropriate protective measures (e.g., floor protection) and insurance.

We recommend you do not arrange installation, fitting, or customer appointments dependent on the Goods until the Goods have safely arrived and been inspected, as delivery delays can occur.

17. Disclaimer

Except as required by law, DSSE makes no representations or warranties regarding the operation of the website, the accuracy of content, or the suitability of products for a particular purpose. Goods are supplied to business customers and any implied terms are limited or excluded only to the extent permitted by UK law.

18. Fraud Prevention and Security Checks

Orders flagged by payment processors or fraud-prevention systems may be subject to additional verification. We reserve the right to delay, place on hold, or cancel any Order requiring further review to protect customers and DSSE.

19. Force Majeure

DSSE is not liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, government action, war, natural disasters, strikes, supplier disruption, or transport disruptions.
